Please respond privatley and not to the list. 1) 16 1x9 70ns SIMMS. Perfect for use in a SparcStation 1,1+,2,2+ . Please make an offer as to what you think they are worth. 2) Sun Color Monitor. Old style that has BNC plugs on the back. It has been reconditioned and then was hardly used. I will throw in a 30 day warranty with this item. Any problems just ship it back no questions asked. I am asking $550.00 for this item. Shipping is negotiable. My e-mail is reavesga@pxa.slu.edu. To: Suns-at-Home@ecn.purdue.edu Someone recently said something about Sun restricts usage of the sunsite.ucn... ie. installs an own (now the only) official ftp-access. It was said in by-the-wy, so I lost it. And, like always, I need it just after I threw away the mail - I think it was on this list. My actual problem is: I need patch 101495-01, does anyone know where to get it via ftp? (To worse things, the connection to the european archies are too laggy to get a hint there... :( ) I would like to hear from a site in europe or germany, but I also can use the (new?!) U.S.-Sun-ftp-host. Thanks for suggestions! Berny ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Jul 1994 06:41:57 -0600 (CDT) From: fubar@andromeda.tamu.edu (Rob Jones) Subject: Sun 3/150 monitors... To: Suns-at-Home@ecn.purdue.edu (suns) I have 2 monitors for a Sun 3/150 that are giving me a few problems. The first one is losing it's focus on the left and right sides. The second one loses it's display after a few minutes and I hear popping sounds inside it. If I turn it off and wait a few minutes then turn it back on, it will work for a while before it goes off again. Is there anything I can do for these? Thanks for any help :) -Rob ------------------------------ End of Suns-at-Home Digest ******************************
