I was wondering what sort of disks could be used in place of the Micropolis 1325 in this enclosure. Is there a drop-in replacement, or do I have to gut the thing and start over? Is it even worth the trouble? To: suns-at-home@ecn.purdue.edu How fast are the serial interfaces on my sun 3/160? I'm planning to use ISDN, so they should at least make 38400 bps - is this realistic or do I have to give up? Oh, I almost forgot: I do have a terminal multiplexer (but I can't seem to remember right now whether it's an ALM-1 or -2. Probably an ALM-1). This printcap seems to work pretty well for SunOS 4.1.1 lp|ps|Postscript Laserprinter:\ :lp=/dev/ttya:sd=/var/spool/lpd:br#19200:sh:\ :fc#0314:fs#06021:xc#0176007:xs#040040: Then the cable is a null modem (2->3, 3->2, 7->7, 6,8->20, 20->6,8) and that ought to work pretty well. Good Luck. ------------------------------ End of Suns-at-Home Digest ******************************
