I don't know of any special thing called "Home GUI" -- I assume
you're just asking what other people use at home.

I use X11R4 (soon R5, I guess).  Sure it takes a lot of disk space,
but I want to have the same thing at home as at work.  I have 2
internal 104 MB drives, a Fujitsu 2263 (about 660 MB), and a QIC-150
tape.  With that, I am not short of disk space!
