(Sold the 386i for enough to pay for the 4/110). As a novice 4/110 user I'm curious if (a) there are any other 4/110 users at home and (b) if there are any "gotcha's" that I need to look out for when bringing up my 4/110 (I'm buying a 4.1 RTU and media, plus a document set, from Sun). The system, by the way, was assembled on 4/90 - made for the auction, apparently. The tape drive electrically loads (no tape load knob); one person tells me its a different 60MB tape and other tells me it's the 150MB tape - does anyone know? (The system came with 16" color, 327MB/tape in an external Sun box, and the CPU with the rev B FPU). Michael L. (particularly sun-2/50 SCSI card) To: suns-at-home@orchestra.ecn.purdue.edu (Suns-At-Home) Hello All, I'm in Australia, but this Friday I'm going to goto California (Santa Cruz) for three weeks. If anyone can tell me of somewhere/someone in that general area which has used sun gear available, I'd be grateful if they could drop me a line - I know zero about USA geography or about the hardware market, so I'd really appreciate pointers. In particular, I'm after a cheap Sun-2/50 SCSI board. Of course, if I can find somewhere/someone selling a used Sun-3/something (or 4/something!) that I can afford, I'd be interested as well :-) Thanks!
