I have a Sun 2/50 with the 2051 SCSI/memory expansion board, and I am unable to boot from SCSI disk or tape. When I hook a shoebox to the SCSI connector on the 2051 and type "b sd()" or "b st()" I get a bus error timeout, as if there were no SCSI board. Does anyone have any literature which describes the functions of the jumpers on the 2050 CPU board or the 2051 board? I suspect that they are set incorrectly. Also, has anyone ever successfully used an Adaptec 1535 SCSI tape controller on a Sun 2? Bob Masterson rm3i@a.gp.cs.cmu.edu [You should be getting this digest now, Bob. Does anyone have a 501-1045 VME SCSI board which they would like to sell? Does anyone have any recommendations for used equipment dealers who would sell this item for a good price? Are there other VME SCSI boards which will work in the Sun 2/50? Are they cheaper or better?
