To do so, I've created an area available via suns-at-home-archives to place information provided by vendors. If you're interested in what's in the VENDOR area send a message to the suns-at-home-archives (see header) with the following line in the message body: send index I've stored vendor information in the form ITEM.VENDOR. An ITEM is something like, disks or memory. A VENDOR is a shortened form of the vendor's company name. Some of the entries you see are links to a single file listing several items. To retreive a given vendor's information, send a note to suns-at-home-archives with the following line in the body: send VENDOR foo.bar Replace "foo" and "bar" with the item and vendor you're interested in. I hope this method of supplying vendor information to the readers of this list will keep us within the bounds of the ARPAnet guidelines well as provide useful information for you and exposure for the vendor. If you see any problem with this approach, please let me know. I'll post a note to the list whenever new information arrives in the VENDOR area. --Dwight D.
