All the Brightness knobs are ] turned fully up, to no avail. Here's a partial tweak to my color GDM-1662B Sparc 1 monitor that gave me several months of added viewing and that may do the same for you. *Inside* my monitor on its right side (on my left as I face its front) is a small screwdriver-like adjusting tool and some deeply recessed screws, three if memory serves. One of them acted like a master brightness adjuster, and boosted my monitor's brightness to a small but useful enough extent. Weitek wants $550 for a new one, and I was wondering if anybody knows of a source of (cheap :-) used ones anywhere.
