Sorry my first posting was a bit vague (late night)

A friend has a sparcstation 10 which has lost its hostID due to a dead =
NVRAM
battery, an old FAQ I read say it is possible to find out the hostID from=
 the
bar code on the chip, does anyone know how to do this.

The bar code is on a yellow label with the letters YHWC beneath the bars,

The machine is a SparcStation 10; model 144; service code S10
and serial numbers 600-3141-02 and 421F0973

Any help would be greatly appreciated
