They may not be equal, but they are not that disparate either. six 
processors running in parallel pack a pretty good whallop. Under some 
circumstances - all other things being equal! - 6x400mhz could be 
preferable to 1x2.4ghz - not the least being in a production setting 
where downtime is a real problem. being able to swap out a bad cpu 
without taking down the whole machine is....nice.
