The X server of the time (X11R4 or 5) was built using an object file
driver for cg6 XGL, and source was not available. I wonder if anyone at
Sun would be prepared to release that code now, and perhaps docs?

Taking a new tack now, what versions of Solaris or Linux would support a
ZX in a SS5?
