Your comment made me think about the "Q-Car" effect a petrol-head friend
of mine is always talking about.

Making the car as fast and as manueverable as possible without changing
its external appearance. The more outwardly boring the car appears the
better.

I think they were named after the "Q-Ship" fishing trawlers which were
heavily armed in the first world war for anti-uboat duties.
