[Suns-at-Home] Red Hat 6 on SS1+

I’m trying to use Minicom to communicate with hyperterm on a windows box. I cannot seem to get them to communicate though. I know the serial ports on both work, I’ve used a dumb terminal on the sun before I got my KB/Monitor. The windows box has used the serial port to talk to a UPS in the past. I’m using settings of 9600 bps, 8n1 on both systems, but they will not talk. I’ve tried all devices from /dev/ttyS0 through ttyS3 on the Sun with no luck. I am sure I’m doing something wrong on the Sun, I just don’t know what. Any help would be appreciated.
