No, they are definitely PostScript. Here's the first few lines of the test
file I tried to send manually to the printer after getting StarOffice to
save it out to a file:
%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%XpPrinter-Model: Generic Printer
%%Creator: Wind/U Xprinter Version 3.1.0 (sol2) (Compile Date: Mar 9 2000 12:01:23) (craig)
%%Title:
%%CreationDate:Mon Dec 4 18:33:07 2000
%%DocumentSuppliedResources: (atend)
%%Pages: (atend)
%%LanguageLevel: 2
%%EndComments
%%BeginProlog
As you can see, it's telling the printer that the file contains PS level 2
data. It wasn't until I reconfigured StarOffice to use PS level 1 instead
of 2 (even though the printer supports level 2) that it worked.
I posted another message to the list detailing what I did...
Regards,
Craig.
